well, hello there.

I’m a Vegas-based photographer but a Minnesota native. Mostly, this means I’m nice. And you can’t hear the Minnesotan accent unless I start talking about roofs and boats.

I spent almost 10 years as the Aveda eco-girl, traveling the globe, visiting rain forests and fields of lavender until I met my fighter pilot husband. Now we have two very little boys and one very large male labradoodle which means the testosterone balance in our house is not in my favor.

I studied photography in Florence, Italy (and in Minnesota, which isn’t nearly as exciting). I made the full switch to digital when my first son was born.

I love the way photography can tell more of the story than words ever could. I live for capturing little people’s big personalities. I get ridiculously excited about the way light dances and color pops. I tend to have my camera with me at all times.
