I guess there is a number on little Dylan’s shirt but I was really thinking about all the numbers pertinent to our recent trip to my parents’ in Minnesota.
Total flight legs: 4
Number of legs I will ever consider flying again: 2 (as in direct only)
Ratio of children to parents: 2 to 1
Number of diapers I should have packed on that final leg: 3
Number of diapers I actually packed: 2
I’m sure I could go on, but probably many of you have been there, and know my pain.
Please do visit Jen Bruss, South Carolina photographer, to see her lucky number.

Oh, I’m exhausting just thinking about it! I love going somewhere but I hate the flights and all the hassles of the airport with kids. Some day you’ll look back on it and laugh. (At least that’s what I tell myself LOL).
They look pretty content! Bet you had a wonderful trip once your made it to your destination!
Oh my, traveling with the littles is tough! I’m off to do it again tomorrow and will too be outnumbered. I’ll remember to bring extra diapers
You are a brave brave woman! I’ve never taken the kids on a flight alone and I can’t imagine doing it with 2 including diaper changes! Love this pic and I hope you had a great time on your trip!
Love the dramatic light and you b&w conversion. Travel with children certainly throws us challenges.
Oh I’ve been there too! Good times and definitely good memories.
Oh, I’ve been there. Traveling with small children: ugh. Glad you survived!
